9 weeks

3 Sep

I’ve fallen into a habit of worrying on the days I don’t feel nauseous. Two days ago, I didn’t feel sick all day and I was really concerned that something was wrong. Then, yesterday I felt sick all day long. It didn’t really let up until I went to bed.

The nausea doesn’t stop me from eating a ton of food and lots of stuff that isn’t so great for me. I know I need to be careful because I’ve already gained weight and it’s still so early. I need to save some pounds for the second and third trimester!

I have to wait three more weeks until my next doctor’s appointment and I’m not sure if I can do it. I might call tomorrow and try to get an appointment a week early.

My husband is way more paranoid about things I’m not supposed to eat or do than I am. I’ve been loving cold cut sandwiches lately and he gets mad at me for eating them. I don’t eat them frequently, so I’m not worried about it. My doctor hasn’t said one word about avoiding any foods, so I figure I’m ok.

Our dogs are crazy! I’m worried about how they’re going to do with a baby here. They need a lot more discipline and I just don’t have the time or energy to deal with it. I’m hoping we don’t have any issues, but if we do, they’ll just be outside a lot more often.

Look how well they behaved for my posed picture, though! Adorable.

This is what I used as a makeshift tripod. If only Michelle lived closer, she could take my weekly pictures!

Hopefully I can keep this up each week! I have so much planning/grading/sleeping/eating to do and am having a hard time finding time for anything else.

And so begins the baby bump adventure! MyMidwife said everything in moderation (such as life right?). She also mentioned sugar intake because the glucose levels.

oh I hear you on the cold cut sandwhiches! I LOVE them. My doc said as long as I don't have them everyday, it's ok. She said try not to do more than 2-3 times a week!

I'm so happy for you! I am also a clomid taker (2 rounds)and am now 28 weeks pregnant! My heart was just going out to you so much in the beginning and now i'm just so genuinely happy for you and i don't even know you, i just understand what you are going through! So good luck to you! And on the cold cuts, i nuke mine in the microwave for 15 seconds for peace of mind because i do eat them often since they are one of my many cravings. So might make your hubby feel better about it, i know it does mine! Congrats again and can't wait for all the updates!
